AUCKLAND WELCOME CAMPS

This exciting Auckland Welcome Camp is designed for international high school exchange students arriving into New Zealand before they start their exchange programme. By attending this Welcome Camp, students discover and learn many great things about New Zealand which will help prepare them for their high school exchange programme. This 3-day Camp is filled with fun activities and trips to ensure students get the best start and preparation for their adventure in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

 

The Auckland Welcome Camp includes:

 

• Airport pick from Auckland International Airport.

• Arrival pack, that includes a SIM card and t-shirt.

• 3-night accommodation.

• All meals for the duration of the camp.

• Wide range of activities in the city of Auckland.

• Arrival orientation.

• Drop off at the domestic terminal and airport supervision for students taking a connecting flight.

 

The activities at the camp include a variety of options (depending on the time of year and availability) but range from the opportunity to have a surfing lesson, rugby experience, introduction to New Zealand history as well as Māori culture and sightseeing of Auckland city.

Students will also receive a personal and in-depth orientation from the Your Education team to prepare them for life in New Zealand and all aspects of having a successful exchange in experience. The benefits of this presentation is that the Your Education team can work closely with each and every student to ensure that they are receiving a personal experience in preparation before they start their adventure.
